What does this scan show?
Answer
This is an axial T1 (CSF in the ventricle is black)
weighted MRI scan of the brain stem.
There is a large tumour in the cerebellopontine
angle which has pushed the ventricle off
the midline.
What ocular signs may be present?
Answer
Reduced corneal sensation
Nystagmus
Sixth nerve palsy
Facial nerve palsy
