Final Note:
While it is tempting to reconstruct any lower lid defects.
Sometimes spontaneous granulation (lassiez-faire) may produce a better
result than any reconstruction can achieve. This is especially true if
the lower lid defect is shallow. The following pictures illustrate such
cases.
