Ophthalmic Herpes Zoster
This 82 year-old developed a left ophthalmic
shingle 2 weeks earlier. The skin over the forehead failed to heal and
coalesced into extensive ulcer. In addition, he developed a left persistent
corneal epithelial defect caused by corneal anaesthesia. He underwent a
left tarsorrhaphy and split skin graft to the forehead.
