This 70 year old woman
presents with multiple whitish lesions around her eyes of 5 years duration.
The features are typical of syringoma. These are benign eccrine gland tumours.
There are made up of small papules ranging from 1 to 3 mm in diameter and
are firm to palpation. They remain indefinitely and treatment is often
difficult because of its number. Excision of the larger lesions may improve
the patient's cosmetic appearance.
