| The Blind Galery is
a virtual museum devoted to art pertaining to blindness. A selection of
paintings,
sculptures and cravings are chosen to reflect the artist impression of blindness. Unsurpringly, the most common theme relates to Christainity with Jesus restoring the sight being the most prevalent. In live subjects, the eyes are expressive but in art the blind people are almost universally protrayed with closed eyes. |
