An non-invasive way of visualizing the brain is an important step forward in the management of patientMalaysia ( 1995 SG568) Centenary of discovery of X-rays by Wilhelm Conrad with neuro-ophthalmology problems. Both CT scan and MRI scans are often requested in patients with neurological disorders. MRI scan had the advantages over CT scan in that no radiation is used and the soft tissues are better shown. CT scan gives a better view for bony structures. The two techniques complement each other. |
