History: This man with poorly controlled diabetes had new vessels on his right disc. As the area occupied by the new vessels was more than one quarter of the disc, he had high-risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy by Diabetic Retinopathy Study criteria. A pan-photocoagulation was carried out to prevent severe visual loss from vitreous haemorrhage. | |||
