History: This 12 year old boy was referred by the optician because of this unusual appearance in the right peripheral retina. There was no family history of ocular problem and the patient was in good health. The macula and the contralateral eye were normal. Examination showed an area of telangiectasia with circinate exudates in the right supero-temporal retina. No treatment was carried out but the patient was asked to report immediately any distortion of central vision. | |||
