History: A 81 year-old woman with a past history
of right dry ARMD developed a sudden drop
in her vision from 6/36 to 6/60. Fundoscopy showed macular haemorrhage and hard exudate. Fluorescein angiography showed the presence of a predominantly classic SRNVM. No treatment was given as the prognosis was judged to be poor. Her other eye had a useful vision of 6/12 (click on the picture for a larger view). |
