Windflower or Easter
flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris). According to
the Greek legend, the windflower was the nymph Anemone.
She
was turned into a homeless flower by the goddess Flora
who was
jealous of her for attracting the attention of her husband
Zephry.
It is also called the Easter flower because it blooms
around these
holidays and was used to colour Easter egg. It is used
as a
homeopathic remedy to treat cataract. |
