How do you differentiate classic from occult choroidal neovascularization?

Answer
The two can only be differentiated on the fluorescein angiographic appearance and not through clinical appearance.
In the classic type: the lesion is visible in early phase fluorescein angiography with typical lacy appearance and well defined borders.
In the occulut type: the lesion is poorly demarcated with later and persistent leakage.
