Dr. Egas Moniz ((1874-1955) is best known for his invention of
cerebral angiogram and lobotomy
for the severely mentally sick. Lobotomy has fallen into
disrepute but cerebral angiogram
remain an important tool in the investigation and management
of cerebral vascular disorders
